Digital Tape ExtensometerThe digital tape extensometer is used to determine changes in the distance between pairs of reference points. Its new digital display makes measurements easier and more precise. More information |
Vented VW Settlement CellThe vented VW settlement cell is designed to monitor settlements in soil from a remote location. It offers a range of 14 m (47 feet) and a repeatability of ±4.3 mm (0.17 inch). Since the cell is vented, it automatically compensates for changes in barometric pressure. Its large vent tube and oversize dessicant chamber prevents problems with condensation. More information |
Multi-Level VW PiezometerThe multi-level VW piezometer is used in series to monitor pore-water pressure at multiple zones in a borehole. The system combines our standard, proven VW piezometers and off-the-shelf PVC pipe, and - in a very simple and economical way - solves or avoids most of the problems associated with in multi-level installations. Vented VW Pressure TransducerThe Vented VW pressure transducer is designed specifically for monitoring water levels in wells and stilling basins. It can sense changes of approximately 0.01 foot of water (3 mm of water). An large vent tube and an oversize desiccant chamber prevents problems with condensation. It is currently available in a pressure range of 0 to 1.5 bar ( 22 psi). More Information |
Casing Anchor![]() The best way to counter buoyancy is to anchor the casing at
the bottom, either by weighting it or by using a convenient
casing anchor. When the bottom is anchored, the rest of the
casing self-centers in the borehole and becomes very straight.
The casing anchor shown here has spring loaded arms that
are activated when a pin is pulled. Casing anchors are available
for 70 mm • 2.75" and 85 mm • 3.34" casing
sizes. |
Titanium Pressure TransducerThe titanium pressure transducer is a 4-20mA device that is compatible with most industrial data loggers. Its titanium body and diaphragm allows it to survive in salt water and other corrosive environments.More information |
EL Deep-Water TiltmeterThe deep-water tiltmeter is a narrow angle, high resolution device for monitoring changes in the inclination of a structure. Rated waterproof to pressures beyond 2 MPa, the tiltmeter is suitable for applications such as monitoring the behavior of the concrete face of rockfill dams and monitoring rotation of piers, piles, and retaining walls. The tiltmeter has a range of ±3 degrees. More Information
