About DigiPro

The most recent version of DigiPro is always available from this website. Follow the download instructions below to download the setup program and run it. If you have a Resource CD, follow the instructions below to run the setup program from the CD.

DigiPro is not free software: it must be purchased. However, when you first install DigiPro, purchased or not, it will run 45 times. You can experiment with it and get some work done without buying the program. After 45 runs, DigiPro will stop running. At that time, if you wish to continue using DigiPro, you must purchase it.

When you purchase DigiPro for Windows, we put your name in our database and can then issue you an unlocking key. If you've purchased DigiPro for Windows and have installed it, click on this key request to obtain an unlocking key.

How to download and install DigiPro

  1. Click on the DigiPro link below to download the setup file.
  2. Choose "Save to disk" and click OK. Specify a location for the file and click Save.
  3. After you download the setup file, close your internet connection. Also close any other programs that you are running.
  4. Click on Start to open the start menu. Choose Run. Click on the Browse button to navigate to the folder that contains the setup file. Select the file and Click Open.
  5. Click OK to begin the setup and follow on-screen instructions.

How to install DigiPro from a Resource CD

  1. Click on the DigiPro link below to run the setup program.
  2. Choose "Open" or "Run this program from its current location."
  3. You may see an security warning. Click Yes to continue the install.
  4. Follow on-screen instructions for the setup.

DigiPro Links

DigiPro for Windows (1.32.7): This file is named setupdpwin.msi. It runs on Windows 2000, XP, and Vista. If you already have DigiPro installed on your computer, please uninstall it before you update to this version.

DigiPro for Windows98 (1.32.7): This file is named setupdpwin98.exe. It runs only on Windows 98.

Release Notes

None. After you run the set up program, start DigiPro to verify that you are running the latest version. The title bar shows: DigiPro for Windows (Version nn.n.nn).

Also check that you have the the most recent version of DMM.

Installation Notes for IT Techs

Both DMM and DigiPro write operational data to their application folders, regardless of where the customers' database is located, so WinXP Pro users must have read and write permissions to the program folders.

There are 3 default user groups created by WinXP and Win2k: Administrators, Power Users, and Users. Of these, Administrators and Power Users have the required permissions.  The Users group only has read permissions. This means that a user should at least be in the Power Users group to use DMM or DigiPro.  A user who is not either in the Power Users or Administrators group needs to be assigned write permissions to the program folder.

On corporate Domain networks, a user is logged into a domain (network) account.  By default, a domain account is using only guest permissions on the local machine.  The administrator will need to add the domain account to the Power Users group on the local machine.
